My Aura Kingdom character:
Around 2016 if I remember correctly I first played a game called Aura Kingdom. The first few hours were incredibly fun.
To be honest the avatar above is not my first character in this game, it's just my most recent one.
So what is Aura Kingdom? Who published it? And who developed it? These three questions will be answered in the following section. But first I must introduce myself, seeing as I haven't done so in any other post.
Hello my name is Joshua Aurandt. Online I go by the alias "Grass." This alias is almost as old as I am. I can't remember the first game or service I used it on, however I can give an educated guess. Anyways back to the main topic. I am 21 at the time of writing this article/blog post and I aspire to be a huge YouTuber someday.
Enough about me let's get into the main topic of this article. Aura Kingdom is an Anime MMORPG published by Aeria Games, and developed as far as I know by X-Legend. The game goes by a different name in South Korea, namely being Fantasy Frontier Online. As for when it launched, according to the steam page the game launched in 2013. I unfortunately did not know about it at the time and didn't start playing until around 2016 or later. Oh I almost forgot to define what an MMORPG is. MMORPG is an acronym for "Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game." Now Aura Kingdom is completely free to play however there is an in-game shop known as the item mall. You can earn in-game currency simply by playing however there is a second in-game currency you can only obtain by using real money. Both currencies can be used to purchase avatar costumes, boost items and more.
As for the gameplay, starting out, leveling up to level 50 is a breeze, after that each level will take an enormous amount of time to gain. Mostly due to the experience requirements being really high. The only game I've played that I can compare it to is Star wars the old Republic. Leveling in Aura Kingdom is much more tedious than the former, by a lot. If you have over 300 hours in-game though its worth the effort. Now how do players go about obtaining gear? Well the answer to that is grinding, lot's and lot's of grinding. Though if you are crazy like me it's worth it. Anyways next topic.
How would I rate this game? To be honest I would rate it a 8 out of 10. My reasoning being that I want to stay unbiased. That being said if I didn't want to do that, I would give it a 10 out of 10. Anyways, I 100% recommend new users give the game a shot.
