AI ~ a threat to humanity or our best shot at surviving in this universe indefinitely?

Hello, I am Enadasa, though I am not a scientist. I am infatuated with tech. The reason I'm authoring this article is the fact that some idiot decided to task an ai with destroying humanity as an experiment. This was beyond stupid. The ultimate use for ai would be preserving humanity. Instead of tasking it with destroying us you could task it with protecting the human species in its entirety. Pay attention if idiots like the team that tasked their AI model with destroying humanity are allowed to roam free it will be the end of our existence as we know it.


Now I propose a law banning idiotic experiments like the one I just mentioned. WE should be creating ai to protect the planet and our species.


Anyways that's all for this post, I just wanted to get this off my chest.
